Jonathan is a pastor at Jordan Valley Church PCA in West Jordan, Utah, where he has served since being ordained. During this time, he led the church through a replant and has seen God bring a beautiful renewal to the church. Before a call to ministry, he spent eight years in the Marines as both enlisted and an officer. Little did he know those experiences, particularly in Iraq, would change the trajectory of his life, leading him to vocational ministry.

I enjoy working with churches and offer a weekend training designed to help give the local church a biblical vision for elders and deacons.A weekend includes:

  • A sermon highlighting the vital role of biblical leadership in the church.

  • An session with the men of your congregation, casting a compelling vision for the calling of elder and deacon.

  • Strategic discussions with current elders to develop and implement an effective training program for your leadership team.

  • Follow-on conversation to track the progress in setting up training.
